On Saturday, February 20, the varsity girls basketball team competed in the Area Round. Although they lost to Georgetown by 53-26, the Panthers ended their season with a record of 24-4; leading players include MaKenzee DeCock with 9 points and Clara Arroyos with 6 points and 8 rebounds. The undefeated district champions traveled to San Antonio on Monday, February 21, to claim their Bi-District Champions title by beating Sam Houston by 64-41. Spectacular performances include: Ileana Morales- 16 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists; Katie Burris- 11 points, 3 3-pointers, 9 rebounds; Kaylyn Persyn- 14 points, 6 rebounds.

On February 21, the boys defeated Floresville by 56-42. Notable scorers were Cristian Romo with 14 points and Christopher Child with 17 points.
Before the snow hit, Medina Valley beat Southwest by 66-56, earning the Panthers a spot in the playoffs.
Also on February 21, the Panthers bested Floresville by 59-40. Great scorers include Tanner Vaughn with 12 points, Gavin Wheeler with 9 points, and Jalen McBride with 13 points. The Panthers now have a 6-2 district record.
On February 16, the freshman A-team beat Floresville by 78-54. Star players include Lorenzo Morales, Carter McCray, and Sebastian Garza.
On the same day, the freshman B-team grappled with Floresville but lost by 40-38. Awesome effort was shown by Daniel Shultz, Joel Tovar, and Angel Saucedo.
On February 16, Southwest Legacy was no match for the Panthers as the latter won by 3-2. Important players include: Travis Barton- 2 goals; Vicente Gonzales- 1 goal; Gabriel Human- 2 assists; Aspen Garcia- 1 assist.
On the same day, the ladies went undefeated against district opponent Southwest Legacy with a winning score of 2-0. Special players include Brooke Piper, Alyssa Salazar, Mykelti Griggs, and Nadia Reyna.
On the same night, the girls overpowered Southwest Legacy by 2-1. Great players include Audrey Koonce and Jillian Bettice.
On February 15, Hannah Dowell, Marin Castiglione, and Natalia Hernandez competed in the Pleasanton Golf Tournament. Dowell individually placed in the top five and the team is headed toward district.
On February 17, the boys golfed at the Pleasanton Golf Tournament. Roman McNelly, Luke Krieger, Cameron Stone, and Alex Roth collectively placed 1st as a team. Roth individually placed 2nd and Levi Keith individually placed 1st. The team looks forward to district.
