Girls Basketball

Varsity

On December 4, the girls team walloped the Pearsall Lady Mavericks by 59-21. Leading Panthers include: Clara Arroyos- 12 points, 5 steals, and 7 deflections; Ileana Morales- 10 points; Kylie Mutz- 9 points and 17 rebounds. 

On December 5, the Panthers defeated the gritty Arabians in Devine by 49-46. Ileana Morales led the way with 24 points. The ladies are now 8-2 for the season.

JV

On December 4, the girls fought the Pearsall Mavericks and won by 65-13. Ileana Garcia had 11 points and Paiten Trowbridge had 10. On December 5, the Panthers also traveled to Devine and vanquished the Arabians by 33-30. Leaders include: Paiten Trowbridge- 10 points; Madison Sotelo- 5 points; Ileana Garcia- 4 points. 

Boys Basketball

Varsity

On December 1, the boys grudgingly accepted a loss to Fredericksburg. Leaders include: Christopher Child- 17 points; Adrian Nichols- 8 points; George Valdez- 7 points; Torrique Sumlin- 7 points.

On December 4, the boys were plagued by another loss, this time to the Pearsall Mavericks. Christopher Child had 9 points and Corbin Northcut had 7.

On December 5, the Panthers endured a close loss to LaVernia by 54-46. Leaders include: Christopher Child- 18 points and 7 for 7 from the free throw line; Corey Roberson- 12 points. 

JV

On December 1, a close game left the Panthers with a loss to Fredericksburg by 58-54. Team leaders include Tanner Vaughn and Jake Herb.

On December 4, they begrudgingly lost to San Antonio Madison 74-35 but won against LaVernia the following morning by 48-38. Leading team members include: Tanner Vaughn- 17 points; Stanley Johnson- 8 points; Dylan Smith- 8 points; Jake Herb- 8 points.

Freshmen

On December 1, the freshmen dominated the court with a win against Fredericksburg by 50-45. Noteworthy performances were observed in Sebastian Garza, Tristan Jonas, and Joel Tovar.

Unfortunately, the boys suffered losses against the notorious Mavericks on December 4 and LaVernia the following day. Leading the Panthers were Sebastian Garza, Tyler Rosalez, and Joel Tovar.

Football

JV

On December 3, the Panthers battled and lost to the Floresville Tigers by 28-16, closing out the year with an overall record of 4-4-1 and 2-3 in district. Notable players include Karson Solis, Bubba Solis, and Joey Koonce.

Freshmen

On December 3, the boys struggled with the Floresville Tigers but lost by 14-2.

    No challenge will keep the Panthers from playing. Keep up the perseverance and good work, Panthers!
