The choir competitors performed at the pre-area auditions in hopes of moving forward to the All-State choir competition. There are 7 competitors in this competition, and 5 made it to the all-region choir, the following are Abigail Bowen, Kristen Cude, Jordan Moore, Rhys Ponton, and Joseph Rangel. 

“It’s a very safe place to be around” junior, Rhys Ponton said. This is Pontons first year in choir. He originally joined choir to get more in tune with pitch.

Performers will have to record their auctions pieces by December 3rd and the area participants will be selected by December 7th. A new article will be posted once results are known.
