On Saturday, September 12, after rigorous training, the Cross Country team competed on campus for the first time this year. The outcomes are as follows:

The Girls Orange Team claimed the Meet Runner Up Title and the White Team placed 4th.

The Orange Team top 5 finishers were:

Macy Livingston 5th Place
Paiten Trowbride 9th Place
Clara Arroyos 12th Place
Alianna Salazar 13th Place
Alyssa Sanchez 15th Place

The WhiteTeam top 5 finishers were:

Kayleigh Corliss 20th Place
Kathleen Carpenter 24th Place
Molly Clamon 28th Place
Kira Smith 33rd Place
Sarah Adams 36th Place

 

The Varsity Boys dominated the Field with the Orange Team running to a Meet Championship and the White team finishing 7th.

The Orange Team top 5 Finishers were:

Matthew Fleming 5th Place
Timothy Teague 8th Place
Blake Mulvany 9th Place
Cade Mangan 13th Place
Jett Winkler 16th Place

The White Team top 5 finishers for were:

Orlando Santos 44th Place
Aaron Espinoza 47th Place
Jeremy Flint 49th Place
Travis Schindler 54th Place
Gilberto Posada 55th Place

The JV Boys showed great poise and finished 2nd overall.

The JV Boys top 5 finishers were:

Marc Castro 1st Place
Lance Carlson 5th Place
Jesus Clopton 14th
Hector Rodriguez 23rd
Yael Reyes 29th

Due to Eagle Pass not being able to make it, they had two teams compete. White team was compiled of the top ten JV runners, while the Orange team was the top ten Varsity runners.

That same weekend, the Tennis team had an amazing match against Harlandale,winning 17-2, and only dropping the #1 boys doubles spot and the #6 boys singles spot. The results are as follows:

The Varsity Tennis team is composed of younger students this year, but has stepped up their game from last year. This season looks very promising already!
