Thank you for keeping me sane

Hilarious DearHankandJohn poster–a great embodiment of their relationship.

Aya Kasim, Staff Writer

If you know me well, you know that I like all things Green–Hank and John Green. These two brothers are known for several things (listed below), but most notably for their novels and video channel, Vlogbrothers. The dozens of projects they have founded and taken part in have entertained, educated, and inspired millions of people around the world–including me. In times of struggle, I have looked towards the Greens for direction and have never been disappointed.

In the most recent of struggles, our global struggle, I have become lonely. There, I said it. Lonely. I miss conversation. On a typical school day, I would speak to many, many people. I would joke, laugh, and sometimes cry. Every person brought something new to the table; every topic, sentence, and word filled my heart little by little until I was left dizzy from endless interaction. I had missed that feeling dearly until I remembered DearHankandJohn.

The podcast features the two brothers, as stated in their intro, answering questions from fans, giving dubious advice and the week’s news from both Mars and AFC Wimbledon (Hank and John’s passions). With nearly two hundred episodes of fun, pure, and comical conversation, not one second is boring.

Starting the podcast is like developing a new friendship. There will be inside jokes and heartwarming moments. No matter what episode you begin on, the first or most recent, you are instantly welcomed. The hosts, with their many skills and astonishing intellect, provide clever and genuine content.

No sentence or article could possibly do justice to the podcast. There are simply too many features: Hank’s dad jokes, John’s pessimism, the million dollar ideas, and all the beautiful banter.

If ever you feel lonely, in need of a good chat, one that leaves you feeling carefree and weightless, DearHankandJohn is here for you. Listen to it free while you’re doing the dishes, in the background while you work, or when on the couch, just relaxing. Keep sane and listen on.

(DearHankandJohn is only one out of many Green Brothers content that you can enjoy while at home!
