On Friday September 28, 2019, Sony and Marvel Studios struck up a deal to allow Marvel Studios to use Spider-Man in a third Spider-Man movie as well as in another movie of their choice; The second movie is rumored to be a “team-up” movie of some kind.. It is suspected that the additional movie will be the next Avengers. Despite all this, Marvel Studios still may get rid of Spider-man from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The plan as of now is to write out Spider-Man using the remaining two movies.
“I believe that the fans of the MCU gave Sony and Marvel enough hell that they tried to come to an agreement for the fans,” sophomore Kadence Griffin said.
Tom Holland is also a real life hero, as he urged both Sony chairman Tom Rothman and Disney chairman and CEO Bob Iger to come back to the negotiation table and come up with a resolution. Luckily, it worked.
“I’m just glad we will get a proper ending to the Spider-Man story,” junior Henry Nino said.
This is a very happy time for Marvelites all over the globe. As they rejoice, the third Spider-Man movie is being made. It is estimated to be released on July 21, 2021.
