Remember when the iPhone X was all the rage? It had Face ID, no home button, and a MUCH better camera. Well guess what? The new and improved iPhone 11 has all that and a lot more. There are three models of the new phone: the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The iPhone 11 comes in the colors: black, white, purple, green, yellow, and product red. In addition, the Pro and Max come in space grey, silver, gold, and midnight green. These stunning phones were released September 20, 2019 and are honestly, so expensive!

The iPhone 11’s many colors.

The original model ranges from $699 to $849. Pricing is determined by the number of GB purchased with the phone and it goes for all of the phones. The Pro ranges from $999 to $1,349 and the Max is $1,099 to $1,449, but you get three cameras, so for Instagram models it is totally worth it.

The camera system is amazing. There are three cameras on the back of the phone. The lenses are ultra-wide meaning that when you want to take a picture, you can widen the range of the camera, so we can do panorama without a special setting. There is a night mode when the lighting is not bright enough to take a good picture. Then there is the new ‘slofie’ mode. It allows you to take a seflie but in slow motion. However, some think the new three camera system is a little weird.

“I think putting the three cameras on it is ugly,” senior Jacob Macias said.

The public has also taken to producing memes about what the iPhones of our future are to look like, possibly with even more cameras.

Although the public is making fun of the phone, many youtubers and review sites who have been able to get the new iPhones, like ‘The Verge’, are calling it “The iphone most people should buy.” The new phones come with the A13 Bionic chip which is faster and smarter, but does not swallow up all of the phones’ power unlike the last chips in the iPhones. It is thirty percent more efficient than the A12, which contributes to the five extra hours of battery life. Speaking of battery life, it lasts all day and when your phone needs a charge, it has wireless charging, so no cable needed.

TechCrunch, an online publisher that focuses on the technology industry, said the iPhone 11 is “like using the future of smartphones today.” People are astounded by the technological advancements in today’s society and they can only get better.
