A Strong Finish To The Season

Friday night, the Panthers traveled to Canyon Lake to take on Dripping Springs in the anticipated AREA playoff game. They came out strong, motivated and played one of their best defensive games of the season. They played an outstanding first game and worked great as a team to communicate and help each other out.

“ Overall, it was an amazing season. We played really hard and improved so much compared to last year. We played smarter and more with our heart.” junior Meghan Haan said.

In the second and third games ,however they lost in three sets, with an ending score of 22-25. Although the team’s season was too short, Panthers had a record-breaking season and represented Medina Valley in the best way possible.

“I also feel really good about next year because we have a lot of amazing returning players. It’s going to be senior year for a lot of us, including me, so I know we’re going to continue giving it our all,” Haan said.

Both the coaches and students are so proud of these girls and all they have accomplished. We are excited to see what the team accomplishes next year!! Great job girls!
