On October 17, the Medina Valley Panther tennis team played Alamo Heights at the Ann Marie Tennis Center for round one of the area playoffs. This is the first in five years the tennis team has advanced this far. The Panthers played well against their tough competition and ended the day with the score of 19-0.

“We worked really hard; Alamo Heights just got the best of us,” Coach Reinhart said.

Mixed doubles team Juniors Allie Tschirhart and Tyler Oberhauser had a good match, making it to the super tiebreaker.

The tennis team has worked very hard during the summer and throughout the season.

“I am looking forward [to seeing] which individuals will shine in the spring,” Coach Reinhart said.
