Seussical The Musical

“Don’t give up. I believe in you all. A person’s a person no matter how small.”

The musical auditions came and went and the results were very exciting. The roles, all spectacularly cast, have been filled by MV’s most talented students. The musical, directed by theatre teacher Sherman Knetig will be the biggest spectacle MV theatre has ever seen.

The show has a wide array of Dr. Seuss’ most beloved characters including The Cat in the Hat, Horton, The Grinch, and many more. The show also features an ensemble of jungle creators, Whos and military cadets. The cast has been filled by over 20 students and many more on tech.

“[I am most excited about] how the Cat is always different characters,” senior Erik Pena, who plays The Cat in the Hat, said. “He’s not who he seems.”

The whimsy of the world of Seuss is to be expertly translated on stage with technical elements, but imagination is one of the key elements to enjoying the show.

Come support the theatre program and see the show! The shows are on December 6th, 7th and 8th.  You won’t want to miss it!
