New Year, New Show

New Year, New Show

Mackenzie Noakes, Staff Writer

The curtain rises on a new year for the Medina Valley Theatre Department. Students eagerly brush off their character shoes and monologue books as the auditions are announced for the fall musical.

With the new leadership under former MVMS teacher and director, Sherman Knetig, students readily await the next production. Though the details of the show can’t be disclosed at the moment, Mr. Knetig ensures that the students will not be disappointed.

“I feel very secure this year. I know that this year will be a good one,” Trinity Duncan,11, firmly stated. The pull of the stage has called students from all grade levels which was evident in the meeting held on August 29 in the Performing Arts Center (PAC).Though the show is not until December, there is a ton of buzz.

If you are interested in being a part of the show, tech, or performing, please see Mr. Knetig in the black box  at the PAC. We are delighted to see what the performing Panthers have in store!
